February 13 is the anniversary of William A. Carr.

William A. Carr was born in Greenwich, New York in 1860. He entered the novitiate at Villanova, PA in 1880, and was ordained by Archbishop Ryan in 1885.

He served for a short time at St. Denis’ in Ardmore, PA. But poor health soon forced him to retire from parish activities.

Father Carr died in Salem, NY, on February 13, 1888 at the age of 28. He is buried in the Community Cemetery at Villanova.
