Edward
P. Flynn, O.S.A.1869-1913
February 16 is the anniversary of Edward P. Flynn.
Edward P. Flynn was born in Mechanicville, NY in 1869.
He entered the novitiate in Villanova, PA, in 1887, and was ordained to
the priesthood in 1892 by Archbishop Ryan.
He first served at Saint Mary’s, in Lawrence, MA, and then in Atlantic
City, NJ. From 1902 until his death on February 16, 1913, he was stationed
at Schaghticoke, NY. He was 44 years old when he died.
Father Flynn is buried in Saint Augustine’s (St. John’s) in Troy, NY.
