Founded in 1842 by the Augustinians, Malvern Preparatory School stands as the legacy of the college preparatory school originally located on the grounds of what is today the campus of Villanova University. In 1922, the college prep school was moved to land that was purchased in Malvern.
Malvern is an independent, Catholic college prep school for boys and serves students in grades 6 through 12. For well over 165 years, the school has been committed to academic excellence and Catholic values, rooted in the Augustinian tradition.
Key to the mission of educating and preparing young men for higher education and to become active and contributing members of society, Malvern is firmly committed to the Augustinian values of Veritas, Unitas and Caritas - Truth, Unity and Love - as expressed in the school's mission statement.
Located on a campus of over 100 acres in Malvern, Chester County, PA., the school has a student body of over 600, has extensively upgraded facilities and most recently dedicated a new building to the performing arts.
