The Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova is pleased to announce the appointment of Lacie Michaelson as Executive Director of the Augustinian Defenders of the Rights of the Poor [ADROP], the Province’s action arm of its Justice and Peace initiatives. Lacie, who undertakes her new responsibilities on June 4, 2018, succeeds Fr. Tony Burrascano, O.S.A. who recently completed a two-year appointment as Director.
Lacie is a graduate of Stonehill College and received a Master’s Degree in Theology from Villanova University. She formerly served as an Augustinian Volunteer in Chulucanas, Peru, and most recently was employed as Assistant Director of Campus Ministry at Chestnut Hill College. She speaks Spanish fluently and has participated in a variety of service projects in the United States and abroad.
